Year 11 – GCSE Results Day
I hope you are all well and enjoying your summer break. I just wanted to write to you to update you with some information regarding your results day on Thursday 12th August.
You will be able to come and pick up your results between 10am and 12pm. Weather permitting, tables will be set up in front of the school from where you can sign for and collect your envelopes This will enable you to come in, collect your results and then gather outside to chat with friends, family and some of your teachers should you wish.
There will be an opportunity for you to leave a message for staff who may have helped you along your journey at Warblington School. These will then be processed and presented to the staff on the first day back. This was introduced last year and meant a lot to the staff who received them.
If you can’t make it into school on that day, we need you to supply us with a stamped addressed envelope in order for us to send you the results. Please note these will be posted out on the Thursday. If you are planning for someone else to collect your results on your behalf, we will need to be informed of this, in writing, in advance and that person will need to bring along proof of identity such as a driving licence or passport. Please use the [email protected] email address for any communication in relation to this.
In the event that you believe there to be an issue with the grades that you receive, myself and Dr Lansley will be on hand during the morning to talk to you and provide you with the information that you need for the next steps.
We are very much looking forward to seeing you all again on 12th August and wish each and every one of you an amazing summer.
