This year we are really excited to be raising money for Children in Need 2017 as a result of Student Voice and following the success of last years’ community project. As one of the UK’s biggest fund raising events, Children in Need raises money to change the lives of disabled children and young people in the UK.
Warblington School has decided to get involved and help raise money for this incredible cause by our Year 8 students organising and leading fundraising events throughout the week of Monday 13th to Friday 17th November 2017. Please see below the outline of the events planned.
Monday 13th November
- 8A will lead a penalty shootout.
Tuesday 14th November
- 8E will lead a cake sale – please provide as many cakes as possible for us to sell.
Wednesday 15th November
- 8D will organise a film afternoon 3:00pm-5:00pm. 50p for students to watch.
- 8A will be selling sweets.
Thursday 16th November
- 8A will lead a sweet sale
Friday 17th November
- Non-Uniform Day organised by 8B.
- A minimum donation of £1.00 will be required to participate in the non-uniform day.
All students taking part must pay their £1.00 donation on Friday 17th November or they will be expected to wear full school uniform. Prefects will be collecting these donations in tutor groups on the day.
Throughout the week, Year 8 will have the opportunity to participate in a dodge ball tournament during SAGE 2, 20p per entry.
