Year 9 Face-to-Face Parents evening: Tuesday 21st April 15:30-18:30
Year 8 and 9 Virtual Parents’ evening: Tuesday 28th April 16:00-19:00
Year 8 Face to Face Parents evening: Tuesday 12th May 15:30-18:30
I am pleased to invite you to our forthcoming Parents’ evenings on the above dates.
The booking system for appointments will be through School Cloud. This is going live at 15:00 on Friday, 27th March. Please log in to School Cloud to book appointments: https://warblington.schoolcloud.co.uk. This link is also available via the school website.
Year 9 Parents/Carers:
You will be able to book either a face-to-face appointment for core subject teachers or a virtual session for every teacher. However, due to the importance of this Year 9 Parents’ Evening—particularly in relation to GCSE Options—and because additional physical documents will be available, we are encouraging parents to book face-to-face appointments wherever possible.
Please note that during the Face-to-Face session, only English, Maths and Science teachers will be available for individual booked appointments. During this evening, all other subjects will be running GCSE Options stalls, where you and your son/daughter can explore the different GCSE courses on offer and ask any questions you may have. This is a valuable opportunity to gather information and support your child in making well-informed decisions about their GCSE options. There will be examples of Key Stage 4 student work to view, providing an indication of the demands of each qualification. If you have any specific questions about the options process, please email options@warblingtonschool.co.uk or speak to Mr Chate on the night.
Additionally, there will be a ‘Careers’ stall available throughout Tuesday 21st to allow for conversations to be had with our specialist Careers advisors and SEND staff available to answer any questions related to SEND.
If you would prefer to book a timed appointment, these are available as Virtual appointments on the 28th April. These appointments are available for teachers in all subject areas.
Year 8 Parents/Carers:
We are running a combined Year 8 and 9 Virtual parents’ evening on Tuesday, 28th, 16:00-19:00, and the usual Face-to-Face evening on Tuesday, 12th May, 15:30-18:30. Parents’ Evening is a great opportunity for you to discuss your child’s learning with their subject teachers and find further ways to support your child’s progress.
